Check out what we’ve done

(not to brag, it’s just we’re kinda living our dream over here.)

The Thomason Table began in a studio apartment with hand-me-down pots and pans and way too many cook books.

Britt’s aunt called us with one simple request: a 60th birthday party for 18 people. All of a sudden we were The Thomason Table.

We started by developing several menus, and then we hosted 12 of our friends in a 600 sq. ft. apartment and made them try, everything.

We ended with a delicious menu starting with homemade pimento cheese, toasted points, clams casino and several other appetizers. The party sat to eat a summer salad, have some perfectly chilled gazpacho and we ended with a parmesan, asparagus risotto topped with perfectly seared scallops.

Since then we’ve grown, just a little…

Between then and now we’ve catered lunches, dinners, brunches. We’ve hosted cooking classes, both in person and virtual. We’ve donated time to nonprofits, we’ve taken cooking classes of our own. We’ve learned a lot but when it comes to our cooking, we still keep it simple.

In the summer of 2020, we were hired to do our first ever micro-wedding. From the ground up (literally) we packed our station wagon full of rentals and drove them up the bumpy roads to Catskills, NY to make this couples’ colorful dreams come true. Britt worked directly with the bride to nail down her tablescape vision while Chandler focused on developing menus to feed the family.

Did we mention the color scheme matched perfectly with the food we served?
